How to Make your Voice Deeper
Alright, so here I am for the meat and potatoes: let’s talk about those exercises I mentioned earlier that’ll help you learn how to make your voice deeper. For starters, let’s set something straight: if you want to see results, you’ll have to work at it. You can get that squeaky voice to vanish, but only if you show some motivation and a true desire to change. There are no shortcuts. You’ll have to practice everyday. The good news? If you keep at it, you should get results within 10-14 days. Results that’ll amaze you and everyone you know. So, are you ready to change? Ready to seize the moment and finally live life to your full potential?
How to Make your Voice Deeper – Exercise n°1
Then, without further ado, let me tell you about one of the exercises that helped me the most. It’s called: “drop a note”. How does it go? You take a random book or some leaflet that’s laying around… and you start reading it in your usual voice. Slowly, while pronouncing every syllable. Go for 2 or 3 lines. Once you’re done, go back to the beginning and start reading again. But, this time, you drop down a note. Yes, you read the same paragraph but with a slightly lower tone. When you’re finished, you do it again, dropping yet one note. And again. And again.
What you’re trying to accomplish here is to hit the lowest note you can. Reading with that tone won’t be comfortable but the idea is that, when you’ll be over, you can just go up 1 or 2 notes, and it’ll feel easy in comparison!
Adding that exercise to your training will strengthen your vocal cords and help them stretch beyond their normal range. Set aside 5 to 10 minutes to do it, and remember to speak slowly and softly. That should get you going.
Now, if you want more exercises to train your voice and get that strong, manly voice ASAP, check out Rudy’s book. That’s where the magic took place for me. That’s where I learned (and where YOU too can learn) how to make your voice deeper!
